Great fit for the neighbourhood. Half normal everyday grocery store half health food store- without the high price. Lots of local things. Hot food bar which is really nice. Good grab and go sandwich selection. Sushi is good and 20% off on Thursdays. Some weekends they do an outdoor rib bbq, which you must try. The bakery is very cheap, JUMBO cupcakes are less than $2. They actually put effort into re-vamping the store front and did a great job. Parking can sometimes be a little crowded. They do a good job of fulfilling iteam/brand request. Friendly staff. Produce selection is a bit small. I have also used their online shopping that lets you pick up. Very easy to use and they walk right up to your car, you never have to get out.
Love this store. Everyone there is helpful and friendly. Prices are very good and you don't need a savings card.
Do you like a grocery store that makes great food, and everyone gets the discounts they provide instead of special club members, then this place is for you! Never had a single issue at the store aside from the small isles. They also have a 'build your own' k cup isle with local distributors there as well! Every weekend or so, they would have an outsider BBQ!
Green Valley has been one of the best things that has come to Arnold. My husband and I go here at least once a week for the hot bar or some form of premade dinner. We also get our weekly grocery shopping from here as the prices are great and the selection is equally comparable if not better than safeway or giant nearby. The food has been great, service is great and plenty of options.
For many years we had sub-par grocery options in this shopping center. It's been about a year since Green Valley moved in and I have to say they are getting better every day. This weekend we were in a bit of a bind trying to get some crabs for a family get together with a lot of stores either out of crabs or charging extra-ordinary prices. My wife suggested calling Green Valley, with in 45 minutes I was heading home with 5 dozen fresh, steamed crabs that our family enjoyed. Couldn't ask for a better grocery store so close to home!
Only complaint I have is recently they seem to be cutting corners a little more... for example, my husband and I both noticed the pot pies seem to be made with canned meats (or something not fresh.. cubed...) which does take away how amazing they were. I also absolutely loved their crab dips, but I got one recently this week and it isnt tasting the same as it did. I am hoping this isnt going to continue with the rest of their dishes and maybe its just a busier time. I was hoping to bring some.of these top dishes to Christmas dinner and for our work holiday parties, but I may have to rethink my options. Overall great place, I just hope they don't keep cutting corners for convinience.
